Denise has had a passion for travel since birth. After a lifetime of traveling the globe (as a child, adult and mother of four children), Denise realized the impact that her travels had on her life, that she had been enriched in ways that she would never have imagined. "Travel connects me to the world....to history, the arts, culture, nature and most importantly, it connects me to people...those from other areas of the world and especially to those with whom I travel."
As an avid athlete and sports enthusiast, Denise enjoys offering "active" travel options, such as biking trips, multisport trips, and golf or tennis getaways. Her appreciation for haute cuisine goes hand in hand with offering fine culinary travel experiences, such as cooking schools or classes, or reservations at the very best Michelin-starred restaurants.
Denise's passion is getting out in the world and experiencing destinations firsthand. She and her husband John enjoy annual hiking, biking and golf trips. They enjoy small ship cruising and are regular Virtuoso Voyages Hosts on Silversea and Seabourn. They have hosted voyages in the Mediterranean and Greek Isles, the Baltic Sea, the Norwegian Fjords, the British Isles, Iceland, Greenland, Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean and Panama Canal, South America, the Galapagos, Southeast Asia and multiple ocean crossings. They look forward to their next Virtuoso Voyages hosting positions: 2024 Grand South America Voyage on Seabourn, to include Antarctica and the Amazon, and the 2025 Silversea World Cruise from Tokyo to New York City.
